Human Geography nanxun town is located in Nanxun District, Huzhou City, at the junction of Jiangsu, Zhejiang and Shanghai provinces. During the Ming and Qing Dynasties, it was a famous silk town in the south of the Yangtze River. It was an ancient town in the south of the Yangtze River with abundant human resources and a combination of Chinese and western architecture. Nanxun town Scenic Area covers an area of 34.27 square kilometers. The protection scope of the ancient town starts from the east side of Yiyuan Site in the east, from Yong 'an Street in the west, from Jiayetang Library and Xiaolianzhuang in the south, and from Baijian Building in the north, with a protection area of about 168 hectares, including 88 hectares of key protected areas. Tourist attractions are divided into three major areas. The first area is the Nanxun tourist attractions enrichment area, where Zhang Shiming's former residence, Liu's ladder number and other attractions are distributed; The second area is the central scenic spot composed of Xiaolianzhuang, Jiayetang and Wenyuan. The third area is the northeast area dominated by Zhang Jingjiang's former residence and Baijian Building to the east of Dongdajie. Nanxun town is known as "the land of culture" and "the hometown of poetry and calligraphy", and many famous figures have appeared, such as Zhang Jingjiang, a strange man in the Republic of China, Zhang Shiming, one of the founders of Xiling Printing Society, and Xu Chi, a famous poet and essayist. In June, 2001, Nanxun Zhang's old residence complex was rated as the fifth batch of national key cultural relics protection units. In 2005, nanxun town was awarded the honorary titles of the second batch of famous historical and cultural towns in China and national 5A-level tourist attractions, becoming the first national 5A-level tourist attraction in Huzhou.

Main attraction
1. Xiaolianzhuang: Located in the west of Wanguqiao, southwest of Nanxun Town, it is a private garden built by Liu Yong, the richest man in Nanxun in the late Qing Dynasty. It was founded in the 11th year of Guangxu in Qing Dynasty (1885) and covers an area of 27 mu. It was named Xiaolianzhuang because it was built by Zhao Mengfu, a great Huzhou painter at the end of Mu Yuan. Xiaolianzhuang is adjacent to Jiaye Library, with Zheguxi outside the park.

2. Jiayetang Library Building: Located by the Zhegu River in Nanxun Town, Xiaolianzhuang, a private garden adjacent to the Liu family in the east. Jiayetang Library is a garden-style layout with a combination of Chinese and Western styles, and it is a mouth-shaped corridor-style hall building. All wooden windows are hollowed out with the words "Jiayetang Library", and there are large gardens, ponds and rockeries outside the building. After 1949, Jiayetang Library has become a part of Zhejiang Library.

3. Zhang Shiming's old house: also known as Yidetang. It faces the ancient Xunxi River in front and faces east from west. It covers an area of 6,500 square meters and has a building area of 7,000 square meters. There are 150 buildings of all kinds, Chinese and Western. It is a classic building with a combination of Chinese and western buildings.

4. Liu's staircase number: It is a western-style building facing west, known as the "Red House", and its owner, Liu An, is called Tieqing. The main hall is called Chongde Hall, so it is also called Liu's staircase number.

5. Baijialou: Located on both banks of Dongbaijianlou River in nanxun town. Baijialou starts from the east suspension bridge in the east and ends at the gate pile bridge in the north. Hundreds of buildings meandered along the river, about 400 meters long, and were built by Dong Fen, a member of Nanxun, the minister of rites of Wanli (1573-1620) in Ming Dynasty. Hundreds of buildings are called "Hundred Buildings" because there are hundreds of buildings on both sides of the river and long slab stone bridges connecting the two sides.

6. Zhang Jingjiang's former residence: It is located in the East Street of Nanxun Town, also known as Zundetang. The former residence maintains the traditional three-entrance and five-room style of ancient buildings in the Qing Dynasty. Once it enters, it has one hall and five rooms, each with its own sky, and each hall will be upgraded to a higher level. Every entrance is connected with a straight fire lane for fire prevention. There are various photos, letters, letters of appointment, etc. of Zhang Jingjiang's life story on display in Hall 2 and Hall 3, among which there are quite a few celebrity relics.

7. Qiushuli Villa: It was built in 1930 by Liu Chenggan, the owner of Jiayetang Library. In 1920, in order to meet the needs of library management, Jianjiayetang Library in Liu Chenggan expanded Qiushuli Villa as a place for him and his family to stay in Xunxun and manage the library. Qiushuli Villa is a typical Chinese-Western architecture. The whole structure consists of a gatehouse, a tunnel, a western gatehouse, a rolling door, a courtyard and an independent hall.

8. Nanxun Wenyuan: It is located in Nanxun Scenic Area, surrounded by rivers and lakes in the middle. It is close to a street in the south of the Yangtze River in the north, and also close to places of interest such as Xiaolianzhuang and Jiayetang Library. The South Garden is mainly a garden in the south of the Yangtze River, and the North Garden is centered on Wenchang Pavilion in the middle of the lake, surrounded by celebrity poetry galleries, Red Army Long March Memorial Hall, Wushougu Art Museum, Xu Chi Memorial Hall, Shishi in the Ming Dynasty and other scenic spots.

9. Jili Lake Silk Museum: It is a combination of Chinese and Western architecture. In the first half of 2010, it was converted into Nanxun Jili Lake Silk Museum. The museum is divided into five exhibition halls, which is a comprehensive exhibition hall integrating historical records, humanistic experience, popular science education, product exhibition and so on. 10. Guanghui Palace: It was founded in the Northern Song Dynasty, and it is a blessed land of Taoism with a long history. Legend has it that Zhang Shicheng, the leader of the peasant uprising army at the end of Yuan Dynasty, once occupied Guanghui Palace as his palace, so he was also named Zhang Wangmiao. The combination of Buddhism and Taoism serves both Wong Tai Sin and Guanyin Bodhisattva.
