The 144-hour transit visa-free policy was implemented at Zhengzhou Airport in Henan Province, and the stay scope was the administrative area of Henan Province. Expand the stay scope of Yunnan Province from Kunming to 9 administrative regions of cities (states) such as Lijiang and Yuxi. Three new ports, Zhengzhou Xinzheng International Airport, Lijiang Sanyi International Airport and Mohan Railway Port, are applicable to the 144-hour transit visa-free policy. Eligible citizens of 54 countries can stay in China for 144 hours without a visa from 37 ports such as Beijing and Shanghai to third countries and regions.

It is understood that in the first half of this year, the 144-hour visa-free transit allowed the number of foreign tourists to increase rapidly, and the number of foreigners entering the country through visa-free entry reached 8.542 million, a year-on-year increase of 190.1%. The port where the policy applies has been expanded again, providing more choices for foreigners to travel and trade in China.
