Chongqing Huangjueping archway tourist attractions
Huangjueping archway, located at No.6 Ciqikou South Street, is the main gate of ciqikou ancient town and plays the role of logo. On both sides of the memorial archway, there is a couplet "A thousand people hand in their hands in the daytime, and ten thousand lights come at night", which is written by Zhu Mo, a local scholar. "Thousands of people surrender" refers to the gathering of merchants in the ancient town, and thousands of ships enter and leave the dock every day; "Ten thousand lamps" refers to the prosperous population in the ancient town, and every household lights oil lamps at night to describe the prosperous scene of the ancient town for thousands of years.
